Get ready for summer! How to take advantage of your spacious months.

Summer is finally here, bringing with it a well-deserved break from our busy lives. It's the perfect time to unwind, recharge, and make the most of the longer daylight hours.

Personally, I am super excited because I just submitted a big grant for which I worked for months and months.

Also, our kids are finally done with school, which means we can have a bit more relaxed schedule (i.e., not packing lunch every morning, driving to early morning classes). The intense volleyball season is pretty much done (we just have one National Championship in Chicago next week), and July is the only month we can be free from most of our daily obligations related to our kids' schedules.

So I am thinking- how can I maximize my summer time?🐚

Even if you won't be traveling, let’s make the most of our summer break and longer daylight, so we can decompress from the accumulated stress of winter and spring.

Here are 5 tips to help you get ready for summer and make the most of your break:

  1. Plan your vacation.

Even if you are not going somewhere exotic, make sure to go somewhere even for a weekend. Change of scenery is good for you because it can help to reduce stress, improve your mood, and boost your creativity.

  2. Make a list of things you want to do.

Summer is a great time to try new things, so make a list of activities you've always wanted to do, like hiking, biking, or camping.

  3. Declutter your home.

One of the best ways to relax is to declutter your home. Get rid of anything you don't use or need, so you can focus on enjoying your summer break.

  4. Spend time with friends and family.

Summer is a great time to catch up with loved ones. Plan some get-togethers or go on outings together.

  5. Take care of yourself.

Make sure to get enough sleep, eat healthy foods (there are so many great fruits and produce this time of the year!), and exercise regularly. Take advantage of the weather and go outside!

This summer my schedule is a bit more relaxed and I can take 1-2 clients. If you are interested in learning more about my private coaching program, please book a free 30-minute call with me.

Soak up the sun, have fun, and most importantly relax! ⛱️
